Piriformis Syndrome


Priformis Syndrome is a painful condition that results in pain that usually starts in the upper buttocks and often radiates down the back of the leg, often down to the heel.


I've put together a series of pictures with yoga poses that I found useful when I suffered from piriformis syndrome.   Within a few days of doing this series twice a day, I was feeling much better, and in a few weeks I was completely pain free.  I have continued a once or twice a day yoga practice of  twenty minutes.  Whenever I feel the pain coming back, I've concentrated my yoga practice on the poses that target piriformis syndrome.
