Christian Meditation

Some people are concerned that starting a meditation or yoga practice could be in conflict with the teachings of their religion.  Meditation techniques have been practiced in nearly all religions, from Christianity and Islam to Buddhism. The techniques of meditation discussed on this website involve a practice of concentration on either the breath or body sensations. Consequently, they are non-denominational.   If you are interested in learning about how these meditation techniques can fit into your life, I recommend the following resources addressing the issue of meditation practices and the Christian faith.
